Deconstructed Work of Jann de Vries

'As a digital media artist based in Germany, the portfolio work of Jann de Vries is extensive, but it is his deconstructed collage works that particularly stand out. He takes existing photos from various fashion journals and magazines to create a new reality, hence the name Wirklichkeit, translated as Reality. This should entice you to check out the rest of his portfolio' Trendland.net.

CENTRE FOR THE AESTHETIC REVOLUTION: GIACOMO BALLA, 'IL GIARDINO FUTURISTA' AND 'FUTURI...:

BALLA vision of the WORLD: Colourful, Bright, Dymanic and Hap-hap-hap-happy!!!! Colours is a feature in the constructivism and futurism. Colour is important in my work. I have to before i was afraid of colourful designs, i'm not sure how then work together and colour proportion is what i have trouble with . I think taking on this kind of aesthetic is truly challenging for me and i hope i can developed this further. I have challenge to really explore colours and hopefully can incorporate this into menswear.

BACK TO THE FUTURE

IMAGE FROM: http://www.newstatesman.com/art/2009/01/futurist-manifesto-future Drawing inspiration from the Russian Constructivists, i have have started to collage and developed my own manifesto for the major collection. i'm interested in abstract shapes and what that means in relation to the body and silhouette. Would the shapes intersection a natural form be considered as 'deformed' or does it open up own definition of what is beautiful?
